Metacognitive
Analysis#3.
On the one hand, citation
is very important to avoid getting into trouble for plagiarism. It is good to
search the internet and books to find useful information and add it to our works,
provided that the sources of that information are properly cited.
On the other hand,
citing is a way of backing up our arguments, making our writing stronger and
credible. Moreover, citing sources may well improve the quality of our writing
productions. Yet, it will only work if the information we obtain derives from
reliable and respected sources.
